Ich hab doch noch ein problem. Wie bekomme ich das deutsche Sprachpacket installiert? Ich finde im Menu der Jukebox nichts wo ich das einstellen kann.
Languages
Rockbox can load language files runtime. Simply copy the .lng file (not the .lang file) to the Archos and "play" it in the Rockbox dir browser.
If you want a language to be loaded automatically every time you start up, make sure it is located in the /.rockbox dir and that the file name is max 24 characters. Then simply click PLAY on it.
Du musst also im 'Rockbox Browser' (Ich selber hab son Ding nich :/) die deutsch.lng nur abspielen und das nich in irgendwelchen Einstellungen umstellen.

Hm, so wie ich das seh is es fürs Aufladen generell n Unterschied ob du nen 'Player' oder nen 'Recorder' hast, ändert aber an den zwei Funktionen wenig:
Deep Discharge - Sollte vollständige Entladung sein, bevor wieder geladen wird. D.h. die Akkus werden absolut leer und dann erst komplett voll geladen, das mag sich nich sehr sinnvoll anhören erhöht aber die Lebenszeit und Leistungskapazität.
(Jedenfalls war das früher mal so bei Standardakkus, vielleicht hat sich das inzwischen geändert. Ich würde die jedenfalls Tiefentladen wenn ich die Zeit hätte.)
Wenn du das Ding also nich so schnell wieder brauchst is die Option besser für die Akkus. Wenn es aber ne Stunde später voll sein muss dann ohne 'Deep Discharge'.
Trickle Charge - So wie ich das verstanden hab hält 'Trickle Charge' die Akkus bei 100% nachdem sie voll geladen sind. (Aber nur für 12 Stunden, dann werden sie Tiefentladen und neu voll, 12 Stunden Später wieder Tiefentladen..) Wenn das Ding also voll is stecks aus, nich dass es dann nach 13 Stunden wieder absolut leer is und dus grad da brauchst.

Player: the charging is all done by hardware and the exact functionality is hard to determine. It is however not recommended to keep the charger connected for more than 10-15 hours if you're not using the unit.
Recorder: no. The charging algorithm is carefully crafted in to not wear out the batteries any more than necessary. If you're using your unit connected to the charger most of the time, use the 'deep discharge' option to save your batteries somewhat.
2. Will keeping my charger connected a long time damage my batteries? Can I leave it over night? There's a deep discharge mode and you can switch trickle charge on and off. If you use your AJB connected to the power supply the whole time, select "deep discharge on" and "trickle charge off". If you want to charge your AJB over night and take it with you the next day, select "deep discharge off" (that it starts charging immediately) and "trickle charge on" (that the batteries remain full).
Trickle charge is needed to keep the batteries full. That's necessary because the device will stay powered on and continue to consume some power from the batteries (the hardware does not allow running from the charger without charging batteries, or powering off with the charger connected). The trickle charge time is 12 hours. It should be enough for you to disconnect your AJB in this time and turn it off / use it. However, after 12 hours of trickle charge, it will turn it off, the batteries are discharged and another charge cycle is started.
