Mahlzeit

Ich bin inzwischen über 3 jahre aus der Schule *G* (obowhl nächste woche gehts das studium los *G* also wieder schule) und ich habe gerade ein problem mit nem deutschen text. Dieser soll in Englische übersetzt werden. Bitte nicht lachen .
Das meiste könnte ich wohl auch noch schreiben ich meine ich chatte oft mit engländern etc. aber wenn es ne vernünftige Anfrage sein soll, habe ich keine lust das ich da tausend fehler reinmache

sehr geehrte Damen und Herren,
ich habe ihre email adresse von VW deutschland bekommen. ich fahre einen Golf 2 Bj 1991, mit orginal 90 PS (motorkennbuchstabe RP). den golf habe ich jetzt mit einem motor aus dem Corrado 16V Bj. 92 (Typ 35I Motor: 2L 16V Motorkennbuchstabe 9A) inkl bremsen, achsen auspuffanlage etc. verbaut. der tüv in deutschland will mir den umbau nicht ohne eine freigabe eintragen.
in deutschland wurde der motor nicht im Golf 2 verbaut. allerdings habe ich von mehreren Leuten in deutschland und aus Amerika gehört, dass der 16V motor (9A) auch im amerikanischen Golf 2 verbaut wurde.
haben sie vielleicht unterlagen oder gar eine freigabe für den umbau? wenn ja, könnten sie mir diese per email schicken?
vorallem bräuchte ich unterlagen über die endgeschwindigkeit, abgasnorm und über die "abgaslautstärke"

Du bist ja lustig, du fusionierst zwei verschiedene Fahrzeuge zu einem und wunderst dich wohl auch noch, dass der TÜV da nicht mitspielt

ne... darum geht es ja. in usa wurde der motor ja soviel wie ich weiß im golf 2 verbaut, aber nicht in deutschland. deswegen sollen die mir mal unterlagen schicken

Volkswagen Germany has kindly provided me with your email address.
I own the German equivalent of the American Volkswagen Rabbit II, built in 1991. The engine classification code of the original 90-hp engine is RP.
However, I have replaced that engine with the engine from a Volkswagen Corrado 16V, built in 1992 (Type 35I engine with 2l of displacement, engine classification code 9A). Apart from the engine, I have also taken and built the Corrado's brakes, shafts, exhaust system etc. into the Rabbit. Unfortunately, TÜV Germany, the German technical inspection authority, will not accept these modifications of the Rabbit without proper clearing.
In Germany, Volkswagen has never equipped the Rabbit II with the Corrado's engine. However, I have heard from a number of people both in Germany and in the States that in your country the Rabbit II was indeed available with that aforementioned 16V engine.
Could you provide me with documentation on or even better a clearing for the modifications I have made to my Rabbit? If so, please send them to me by email.
The key specifications I urgently need documentation for are top speed, exhaust gas standards, exhaust system sound levels and the like.

I Own a Golf 2, year of construction 1991, originally equipped with an engine carrying out 90 HP (engine identification letter RP). I replaced this engine with one from the Volkswagen Corrado 16V, year of construction 1992 (type 35I, Engine: 2l capacity, 16V, engine identification letter 9A). I also changed the
original brakes, axles, exhaust system etc. with the ones from the Corrado.
To get this changes registered by the german TÜV, I need some kind of release.
And that's my problem: the 16V engine has never been built into a german Golf 2, so there doesn't exist any german documentation about this conversion.
Some guys both from Germany and the States told me that the 16V engine has been built into the american Golf 2. So I wanted to ask whether you may send me a copy of these papers by e-Mail. The most urgent specs are about
top speed, exhaust gas standards, exhaust system sound levels.

meines Wissens gibt es in den USA keinen Golf, der heißt dort Rabbit, Golf sagt dem Ami also vermutlich nichts ist wie mit dem Käfer, der drüben Beetle heißt

Dass der Käfer Beetle heisst, hätte ich noch hinbekommen - da es im Text von Hotte um den deutschen Golf geht, bin ich der Meinung, dass es besser ist, die Modellbezeichnung nicht zu übersetzen.
