FF3: Fast and the Furious turning Japanese / New Cast

A few months back rumours started to swirl that Vin Diesel was eyeing a return to the "Fast and the Furious" franchise. Producer Neal Moritz tells About.com that the whisper was true - but like superglue on a pinkie, it was too hard to pull off.

"We had talked about it", says the uber-producer, confirming that Paul Walker is also out of the next sequel.

Instead, says Moritz, "Fast and the Furious 3" will have a spanky new cast.

"Well, we really loved making those two movies and we were looking for a fresh take on how to go into that world again, we came to this idea of going to Japan", he says. "It’s where a lot of this stuff started, so it’s about the new level of racing there".
